X-Men Origins: First Class

Plot: In 1962, the United States government enlists a group of young mutants who try to stop a mutant from starting World War 3.
Review: The X-Men franchise goes back in time to 1944 at first and shows young Eric Lensherr (Michael Fassbender) learn how to control his powers, then in 1962, hunt Nazis down and avenge his parents death. One in particular, Klaus Schmidt (Kevin Bacon) who also has mutant powers and killed his mother, is planning to start World War 3. It's up to Professor Xavier (Patrick McAvoy) and the young X-Men to stop Schmidt. Everyone does a good job in this movie. The plot and script are good and tells the story of young Magneto and Professor X very well. It helps us understand how a Magneto became a villain. Michael Fassbender and Patrick McAvoy were really good as the young Magneto and Professor X, as was Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique. X-Men First Class has got it all: action, drama, and humour, this is definitely worth the watch!
