Review: This is a Die Hard on a mountain movie. Sylvester Stallone has a great action movie aside from Rambo and Rocky with this flick. Stallone plays Gabriel, who not too long ago tried to save his friend Hal (Michael Rooker) and his girlfriend who are stranded on a mountain. He tries to save her getting her to a helicopter but she drops and he decides to move out. Then he returns to town. But during that time, hijacker Eric Qualen (Jon Lithgow) and his group hijack a plane full of money and try to steal the money but there's an accident, the plane crashes, then they call rescue to help them find the money and escape. Gabriel and Hal have to rescue them and find the money. Just a great action movie of the 90s.

Stallone is awesome in Cliffhanger, a movie that offers edge of your seat stunts on a cliff. Jon Lithgow is actually really good as a villain. He also played the Trinity killer in the Dexter series. It's odd to see him as a bad guy cause he usually plays comedic roles. Cliffhanger is a good action movie and well worth checking out!
