The Terminator

Plot: A human looking invincible cyborg is sent from 2029 to 1984 to kill a waitress, whose unborn son will lead the humans to victory over the machines.
Review: Terminator is a classic! It all started with a dream that director James Cameron had that he was a leader of a rebellion against machines that killed people. Cameron then decided to make a movie of it. The casting went from Lance Henriksen, to OJ Simpson (apparently OJ was too nice to be a Terminator), to new comer Arnold Schwarzenegger. He barely has any lines, but is a killing machine.
Aside from Arnold, Linda Hamilton (Dante's Peak) is basically the true lead character as Sarah Connor, the mother of the leader of the future resistance. Michael Beihn (Aliens) is great as Kyle Reese, a soldier from the future sent back to 1984 by John Connor to save his mother. Lance Henriksen had a small role as Hal Vukovich and was really the only other known actor. The Terminator is a great sci-fi action flick and highly recommended!
