Captain America:
The Winter Soldier
Plot: With SHIELD compromised, and struggling to adjust to modern times, Captain America seeks to put an end to the organization taking over SHIELD.
Review: Now this is a super hero movie! Captain America: The Winter Soldier is action packed right from the start with a terrific cast. Chris Evans returns as Steve Rogers aka Captain America, along with other SHIELD members Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson). There are a couple of newcomers such as Robert Redford (All Is Lost) as one of the original founders of SHIELD and Anthony Mackie (Hurt Locker) as Sam Wilson/Falcon.
The movie is all about the organization known as Hydra, which was run by the Red Skull (Hugo Weaving) during World War 2 has kept running and there are leaders within SHIELD who have sworn allegiance to Hydra and plan on having giant planes to patrol the skies and destroy any enemy of Hydra. It's up to Captain America to stop them with the help of Black Widow, Falcon and Nick Fury. But there's an assassin that has been helping the Hydra called The Winter Soldier, who is a cyborg and has been helping Hydra with assassination missions for the last 50 years. The Winter Soldier is a formidable enemy, ruthless and armed with a number of awesome weapons. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is probably one of the best of the Avengers series and worth watching!
