Bond: Die Another Day

Plot: a multi billionaire playboy plans on destroying the world with a space weapon.

Review:

Pretty good action in this movie. Great Bond girls, plus great gadgets make this a memorable flick. However, they seemed to go a bit overboard in an unrealistic way. They kind of reused ideas from former Bond movies. For example, Bond going rogue (License To Kill), and using a space weapon to destroy the planet (Golden Eye). Halle Berry did a great job though as a Bond girl. Emma Frost was also pretty good as an M16 agent. The villains in this movie were surprisingly good. Gustav Graves was like a Howard Hughes type character. Only an evil version basically. You later find out he isn't who he appears to be. Rick Yune does a great job as Zao. He's pretty evil and convincing bad guy.

John Cleese is back as Q this time and this movie actually has some great gadgets. For starters, my personal favourite car the Aston Martin Vanquish, or in this movie the Vanish has camouflage which makes the car invisible to the naked eye. Plus the usual rockets, machine guns, etc. the locations are great. Set in mostly Cuba and Iceland, with a ice hotel. Overall, this is a great way for Brosnan to end his tenure as Bond and a great way to get Bond into the 2000s.
