American Hustle
Plot: After getting busted by an undercover FBI Agent, Irving and Sidney have to work with the FBI agent to create an elaborate con to bring down corrupt officials working with the mob.
Review:
Overall this is a great flick! Christian Bale's best performance by far. Amy Adams is sexy and great as Sidney, posing to be a British secretary. Jennifer Lawrence steals the show as Irving's estranged wife. She's very psychotic, clueless about things yet very beautiful. Bradley Cooper is great as the FBI agent. Even Jeremy Renner is good as the likeable corrupt mayor.
This movie has everything. Great drama, humour, and lots of plot twists to keep you on the edge of your seat. This is a movie about con artists, so you really have to pay attention to every detail. It is quite long, but definitely worth the viewing. Overall, this is a pretty awesome flick and in my opinion, the best movie of the year! I predict Christian Bale for Best Actor and Amy Adams for Best Actress. This movie will win lots at the oscars!
