Review: This movie had a bit too much hype going in. For starters, they had B list actors in it starting with John Cusack, Woody Harrelson and Danny Glover. 2012 doesn’t really perform after a weak script, and a long movie. It runs in over 2 hours 30 minutes. Cusack did a decent job, Woody Harrelson was some crazy guy and Danny Glover was the president. He was pretty convincing as the President, one of the few bright spots in 2012. Basically they figure out the Earth's core is overheating and the world will basically cave in. Soon enough it happens and the world governments create sort of a Noah's Ark for the rich and powerful to survive in and everyone else fend for themselves. 2012 does have some decent action and thrills, but it doesn't deliver from all the hype it was led up to be.
