Edge Of Darkness

Plot: After seeing his daughter get murdered, a senior Boston cop tries to find those responsible.

Review: Mel Gibson's first lead role since 2002's Signs and first since his anti-Semitic drunk rant and personal issues became public, Edge Of Darkness deserves a bit more credit. Sure Gibson made an ass of himself and lost a lot of fans, but with this movie he still proves why he was one of the superstars of the 1990s. Edge Of Darkness starts off with his daughter Emma (Bojana Novokovic) visits him, but she gets sick and they are about to leave to the hospital when she gets shot by someone with a shotgun. Mel Gibson's Craven then starts his own investigation and finds out a powerful company was behind the murder and he doesn't stop until those responsible get what they deserve. Edge Of Darkness is a true action thriller and one to definitely consider watching. Despite Gibson's personal issues, this movie is really worth watching!
