Bond: Casino Royale

Plot: For 007's first mission, the elite poker player must defeat a military arms dealer in a high stakes poker game.

With the Bond series being rebooted, it did quite well with Casino Royale. Despite the fact that most Bond fans despised Daniel Craig as the lead role, he played it perfectly. He was way tougher than Pierce Brosnan, and used zero gadgets. Aside from the cellphone, that was about it. The girls in the movie were pretty good to. Eva Green stole the show as Vesper Lynd, Bond's love interest. As for the villain, Mads Mikkelson was tremendous as Le Chiffre. This Bond movie goes back to the traditional routes of Bond. A spy with no gadgets makes this way more realistic than the likes of Die Another Day.

Basically the story goes Bond is a new recruit and sent to investigate a bomb maker in Madagascar. This leads Bond to trace a man in the Caribbean and then Italy, where he goes after La Chiffre in a high stakes poker game. The action is awesome, including some breathtaking rooftop chase scene stunts, and features a great Aston Martin. This is truly a great Bond, and one of the best of Daniel Craig.
