Olympus Has Fallen

Plot: A North Korean terrorist takes The President and White House staff hostage. It's up to an ex Secret Service Agent to stop them.
Review:
Dubbed the best Die Hard movie of the year, (Die Hard 5 scores a 4/10 in my books) this is truly an amazing action movie. Starts off with tragedy though. Secret Service Agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) is left with a choice to save The President (Aaron Eckhart) or his wife (Ashley Judd). He chooses The President and gets fired for it. Months later, there is an attack on Washington by a North Korean terrorist who wants all soldiers by the demilitarized zone to leave or all hostages die. The President and his staff are those hostages. It's up to Mike Banning to save them as he sneaks into the White House to help.
Just a great action movie. A lot of innocents get brutally killed by the North Korean terrorists. Particularly from the attack plane. They move in without hesitation and take the White House down with ease. But Banning sneaks in and it's up to him to save the day. Gerard Butler is awesome as Banning, great fight scenes and just a top performance. The Dark Knight's Aaron Eckhart is decent as The President, and Morgan Freeman is good as always as Trumbell, the man who temporarily takes over the United States. If you want a true Die Hard movie, this is your flick to watch!
