Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Plot: Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark are targeted by the Capitol after their victory in the 74th Hunger Games starts a rebellion in the Districts of Panem.
Mockingjay Part 1 was pretty decent. Fairly long at 2 hours and 30 minutes, there was a lot of drama and little action. Basically President Snow (Donald Sutherland) was angry at the fact that there were two survivors, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) as Snow suspects they were the reason why the people are rebelling. Snow's group rule by fear in the dictatorship government and by having two survivors they feel threatened, so they go to great lengths to have Katniss and Peeta killed, and even have their reputation ruined so the people would lose faith in them.
Katniss and Peeta decide to fight the system and things lead up for a sequel. Jennifer Lawrence was great as Katniss again, not missing a beat after the first Hunger Games. Woody Harrelson was decent and the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman made an appearance. Donald Sutherland really took centre stage in this movie and did a great job. Mockingjay Part 1 is an excellant movie and definitely worth the viewing!
