Lone Survivor

Plot: Four American soldiers go on a mission to take out an Al Qaeda terrorist. Only to be faced with a decision, free some captives that can give away their position, or let them go and risk facing an entire Al Qaeda army
Review: This is truly a great military movie. Very realistic true story based on a group of a Marines that seek to take out an Al Qaeda operative. Only four soldiers go in, very well armed. All is going well until civilians spot them. They hold them hostage for a while, deciding whether to kill them, or let them go and give away their position. Their conscience gets in the way as they let them go. Only to find out that they alerted an entire Al Qaeda army. It winds up being an incredibly brutal fight as one of the soldiers gets shot about 10 times but still keeps on fighting. They even jump off a 50 foot cliff to run away from the terrorists.
Eventually, there's only one survivor. That's Mark Wahlberg's character. He runs into civilians who take him in. Then there is a big fight between the civilians and Al Qaeda. I won't give away the ending, but it's quite intense! You'll be on the edge of your seat the whole movie. If you aren't a fan of intense blood, this isn't the movie for you. But if you love war movies, this is definitely your flick to watch!
