Plot: The story of Gustave H, a famous concierge at the Grand Budpest Hotel and his most trusted friend Zero, a lobby boy.

Review: Now if you are a fan of Wes Anderson movies such as The Royal Tanenbaums or The Life Aquatic, you'll love The Grand Budapest Hotel. The story mostly focuses on the life of M. Gustave (Ralph Fiennes, Red Dragon) who is a concierge at the famous Grand Budapest Hotel during the 1930s. The movie starts off in present time with an author (Tom Wilkinson, The Patriot) telling us his story of how when he was younger (as Jude Law, The Talented Mr. Ripley) interviewed the current concierge of the Grand Budapest Hotel Mr. Moustafa (F. Murray Abraham, Scarface) and he tells the author his life story of how he rose from the ranks of a bellboy to the concierge after becoming great friends with the concierge M. Gustave.

M. Gustave was in a relationship with an elderly woman who was found murdered and in her will, she left Gustave everything. Her family didn't approve of that and had him framed for the murder and he was sent to prison. It is up to Zero, (Mr. Moustafa as a young boy) and his girlfriend Agatha (Sabrise Ronan) to help break him out of prison. The acting from Ralph Fiennes to Jeff Goldblum is terrific. I wouldn't be surprised if Fiennes gets a best actor nomination for his performance! The Grand Budapest Hotel is a bit different, but really funny and worth the watch if you are a fan of Wes Anderson movies.
