The Conjuring

Plot: Two paranormal investigators investigate a haunted house and try to send whatever is haunting the residents away.
Review:
This is by far one of the scariest movies ever, even scarier than The Exorcist. If you are scared in the first 15 minutes with the Annabelle doll, then you won't like the rest of the movie. Annabelle is a real case (to the right is a picture of the real Annabelle doll) where these girls have a doll that became possessed and did some scary things to the apartment. They then hired Ed & Lorraine Warren to see what the problem was. It turns out as they explain during a class at a University that Annabelle was possessed by a demon who wanted to possess the girls. While at the seminar, Carolyn Perron was attending and caught up with the Warrens because her house was being haunted.
A lot of scares occur in this movie. There are quite a bit of pictures fall off a wall one scene, the occasional voices being heard, and one demon trying to possess Carolyn. There's a book called House Of Darkness, House Of Light by Andrea Perron, one of the girls in the house that’s based off of the haunting and defiantly worth the read. If you are up for a great horror flick and want to be scared by something, definitely check this flick out!
