Quarantine

Plot: A tv reporter and her cameraman are trapped in a quarantined apartment building where a mysterious virus has been infecting the residents.
Review: Quarantine is a scary zombie flick. Despite the fact that it only has Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter as the only real star that people would know about, plus Snatch's Rade Serbedzija, it's still a decent movie to watch. For starters its one of those movies like The Blair Witch Project where it's all in first person mode by the cameraman's point of view. It can be a little unsettling sometimes especially when they are running with the camera, but it adds the tension to the film. The zombies are really scary. They are fast and bloodthirsty, and the virus spreads very quicky. First a dog gets infected, then the CDC get notified and the Emergency services. While filming firefighters day to day lives, Angela Vidal (Carpenter) and Steve Harris (Scott Percival) go into an apartment building with two firefighters. They go in only to find that a resident has become basically a cannibal, attacking anyone who enters, and then infects others to do the same. The movie is very tense, and definitely worth checking out!
