Bond: Quantum Of Solace

Plot: Bond seeks revenge to those who are responsible for his girlfriend's death, while tracking a mysterious organization who desires to eliminate a country's oil supply.
Review:
After Casino Royale, the Bond franchise took a step backwards. This a Bond film had the misfortune of being made during the writers strike and was a result of a poor script. The only good thing about the movie was the chase scenes. It starts off right away with Bond driving in narrow streets in the Aston Martin avoiding gunfire and head on collisions. There are several other chase scenes including a boat chase scene and airplane chase.
The villains in this movie could have been better. Matheau Almric is very creepy as Dominic Greene, a member of the mysterious organization Bond is after. He is determined to rid a country's oil supply for evil intentions. He wasn't a scary, convincing villain like La Chiffre, just creepy. The a Bond girls in Quantum Of Solace were ok. Olga Kurylenko was decent as Camille. A girl who was seeking revenge like Bond against a General who killed her parents. The other girl was Gemma Arterton's Strawberry Fields. She isn't in the movie for that long. To put it in a few words, Quantum Of Solace has great action, but not so great script and plot. Could have been better, but if you only care about action this is your movie.
