The Monuments Men

Plot: A group of men decide to go to a war torn Europe to save precious pieces of art from Hitler, who plans to have the pieces of art destroyed.
Review: Well this is an interesting war movie. George Clooney assembled an excellent cast in Matt Damon, Cate Blanchett, John Goodman and Bill Murray. Everyone did a job in this flick. Bill Murray was definitely the highlight of the movie. It's rare to see him in something lately and he does a great job. This isn't a shoot them up war movie like Saving Private Ryan, or a heist movie like Ocean's 11. This is just a group of art lovers turned soldiers who are trying to recover priceless pieces of art that Hitler stole from Jewish families, and the fact that he wanted all of the art for himself. To sum this movie up in a few words, it's entertaining, unique and a decent World War 2 movie. It's worth checking out.
