World War Z
Plot: A former UN worker Gerry Lane is reinstated to find a cure for a zombie pandemic that has wiped out most of the earth.
Review: World War Z is an interesting zombie movie, but unfortunately nothing like the book. For starters, the book had slow moving zombies. The movie has fast paced zombies that are super strong. But in director Marc Foster's defense, people really don't know what zombies look like in reality. Its not really that gory either. Walking Dead has more gore than World War Z. But it is action packed, and once the zombie invasion begins, its really intense.
Brad Pitt produced this $200 million blockbuster and starred. Pitt was really the only well known actor in the movie. David Morse and Matthew Fox were the only other well known actors and barely had any screenplay. But despite the lack of starpower, and the fact that the zombies weren't your traditional zombies it did have some great action and some scares. If you like zombie movies and Brad Pitt you'll like World War Z. But read the book its better!
