The World's End

Plot: A group of friends try to revisit their teenage years by finishing the ultimate challenge: The Golden Mile, a 12 pub strip and they plan to visit all of them. But the town isn't the way they remember it.
Review: My first time watching this movie I was skeptical. Shaun Of The Dead was a classic horror/comedy flick. Hot Fuzz was a classic action/comedy. But having a Sci-Fi/Comedy, sometimes doesn't always work. But this one did! Gary King (Simon Pegg) embarks on a journey to get together his highschool buddies to finish The Golden Mile. Eventually they all make the trip but figure out the towns people are acting rather bizarre. The town was actually replaced by alien robots who plan on taking over the world. The group while highly intoxicated then tries to finish The Golden Mile and save the world at the same time.
Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are great as usual. This is a great way for the Curritos Trilogy to come to a close. There are a couple of other names you may recognize. Pierce Brosnan plays one of their old professors, Rosamund Pike as Gary's love interest and Martin Freeman as Oliver. Nick Frost is a really uptight lawyer who only drinks water at the start, but after the robots show up he gets totally ridiculous! This is probably better than Hot a Fuzz in my opinion and a great flick to watch!
