Review: The first X-Men movie is the first big superhero movie to launch the new millennium which had a great amount of success with the genre. There are most of the famous X-Men in the movie, such as Professor X (Patrick Stewart), Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Storm (Halle Berry and Cyclops (James Marsden). Magneto (Ian McKellan) is the villain and plans on using a mutant to turn everyone into a mutant at a UN get together on Ellis Island. It's got a decent plot and script, good action and a few laughs. Hugh Jackman is in his first real big role, the one that made him famous. Mel Gibson and Russell Crowe were originally to be Wolverine, but Crowe recommended Jackman and it turned out to be a great decision! X-Men is a great way to start the movie franchise and well worth the viewing!
