Top Movies Of May 2014

So far there are a few good flicks for May 2014. A couple of reboots sort of say and a few promising shows. For starters there's The Amazing Spider Man 2 with Jamie Foxx as Electro which should be amazing. The last Amazing Spider Man which was a reboot was surprisingly very good. The new Spider Man Andrew Garfield was way better than Topher Grace in the original Spider Man trilogy plus having Emma Stone as the leading lady is a huge plus over Kirsten Dunst. This is going to be the top money making movie of the month.

The next big movie will be a reboot of the Godzilla series. Godzilla first hit the big screen in 1954 and was mostly a big hit for the Japanese. But monster movies are a huge hit in North America eg. 2008's Cloverfield where a space monster invades New York first person camera style. Breaking Bad's Heisenberg (Bryan Cranston) is the lead along with Japan's well respected Ken Watanabe (Inception, Last Samurai) are the lead actors.

Hugh Jackman is back for his seventh time and reprising his role he started 14 years ago as The Wolverine in X-Men Days Of Future Past. But its a combination of both the old cast from the first 3 movies and X-Men First Class as The Wolverine with the help of Kitty Pride goes back in time and insterted in his younger body and sent to the 60's to help prevent a global extinction of both mutants and humans by the Sentinals. Looks like its going to be the best movie of the series and I'm quite excited after the success of 2013's The Wolverine.

Other movies to watch out for are 1 Million Ways To Die In The West, which is a western/comedy by Family Guy's funny man Seth MacFarlane, also starring Liam Neeson (Taken) and Charlize Theron (Prometheus, Italian Job). Looks like it will be a big hit. Other movies to check out this month are Cold In July which is getting great reviews starring Dexter himself Michael C. Hall, the Cinderella story starring Angelina Jolie in Maleficient and the Adam Sandler/Drew Barrymore comedy Blended. Spring is here and so are some very good movies to check out!
